What is A Differential On A Car?As part of the front and/or rear axle assembly, the differential plays an integral role in how your car makes turns. The differential is designed to drive a pair of wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds. This function provides proportional RPMs between the left and right wheels. If the inside tire rotates 15 RPM less in a turn than going straight, then, the outside tire will rotate 15 RPM more than going straight. For example, when your vehicle goes around a corner, the wheel on the outside must travel faster than the wheel on the inside. The differential distributes equal amounts of torque to both wheels. This permits the wheels to react to resistance, or provide traction, to give the wheel more resistance to rotate less. The wheel with less resistance rotates faster.
Some vehicles, such as go-karts, are not equipped with a differential. In this case, both driving wheels are forced to rotate at the same speed, usually on a common axle driven by a simple chain-drive apparatus. Front wheel drive vehicles are designed differently in that the axle and differential assembly is located in the transmission axle assembly or transaxle.

How does a Musical Water Fountain Works?A Musical Fountain, also known as a dancing fountain, is a type of animated fountain for entertainment purposes that creates an aesthetic design (including three-dimensional images). This is achieved by employing the effects of timed sound waves and timed light (including laser) against water particles. Modern day fountains employ a computer controlled pneumatic arrangements, essentially a pressurized cylinder of water with the provision of an expulsion mechanism(like a piston) and a nozzle at the outlet that are programmed to squirt water with a specific force for a specific duration while the computer also manages the audio output. The circulation system is also modernized with the help of pressure sensors and pumps to maintain continuity. Old school fountains used the principle of siphoning to maintain continuity where the water level was maintained slightly above the height of the canons that squirted water such that any drop in water level resulted in a siphoning suction being established at the canon's mouth.

What is an engine flush? What does an engine flush do?Each time your engine oil heats up, it evaporates slightly over time, in turn the oil then leaves oil deposits & sludge which constrict the flow of oil throughout your engine making your engine work harder to move the remaining oil around. You can add ann engine flush is added into your engine oil just before an oil change. The flush dissolves sludge and deposits from inside the engine, then drained with the old oil, leaving much cleaner internals than left untreated.Oil filters can be incredibly effective and can catch particles as small as 10 microns. That being said, there are still a lot of particles located in the engine’s oil stream which are smaller than this and even with a high-quality filter, these particles can’t be removed. Over time, they can build up and cause a noticeable drop in your engine’s performance. Sometimes, simply replacing an engine’s oil won’t get the job done, it is recommended that you change your filter every time you change your oil as this can ensure that your future oil remains cleaner for longer.

Why should we change Engine Oil of a Vehicle regularly? There are a lot of different components to an engine and a lot of them need to be properly lubricated when the engine is running. This is where engine oil comes into play.Over time, your engine oil will begin to collect contaminants and while your oil filter will catch most of this, the oil can still remain contaminated. This results in the engine oil not being as effective, which can cause problems throughout your engine.
Rub your hands together. You’ll notice that your palms begin to get hot, this is due to friction. Now, if you add a few drops of oil (or hand wash) to your hands and do the same thing, less heat will be generated as friction is reduced. Following on from this, place some salt in the palms of your hand. Notice how even though your “oil” is still on your hands, friction is still being created. This is similar to how dirty oil reacts in a running engine.

What is the role of Engine Oil in Vehicles?Engine oils play a crucial part in your engine’s functionality. Without the oil, your engine can become damaged fairly quickly and so it’s in your best interest to make sure that the engine oil is up to par.The oil in your engine makes sure that the all mechanical components are lubricated to reduce friction, wear and heat. The engine oil ensures that components don’t rub against each other and wear away. While it depends on how often you use your car, older engine oil doesn’t perform as well and so a regular change in engine oil is essential to the functionality of your car.

What is Cell Crystallization?Biocrystallization is the formation of Crystals from organic macromolecules by Living organisms. This may be a stress response, a normal part of Metabolism such as processes that dispose of waste compounds, or a Pathology. Template mediated Crystallisation is qualitatively different from in vitro Crystallisation. The main purpose of a Crystallisation in an organic chemistry procedure is to purify the desired compound. Crystallisation also may be used to isolate an solid organic compound from a mixture of compounds in a step in the work-up of a reaction mixture.

Are Ultrasonic Pest Repellers effective and What’s the Concept behind?Unfortunately, the science behind ultrasonic pest repellers is ultra-shaky. Seems like an attractive idea though, right? Just plug a charger-sized device emitting undetectable sound into the wall, wait about 2 weeks, then BAM, your garage oasis is insect and rodent free without the use of chemical pesticides or inhumane traps. Sounds great! Too bad these devices have never been proven to actually work. But let’s take a look at the theory anyway.Ultrasonic sound waves have a frequency higher than what human ears can hear, but invading species can detect them. The sound is meant to irritate pesky critters and prevent them from making homes near the source of the noise. I’m pretty sure this is similar to how I feel about Montreal’s constant construction in all fairness, I would move away too if I had the choice. But this only makes sense in theory. In actuality some animals seem to habituate to the noise, and others just don’t seem bothered at all.

What is Google Street View and How does it Work?
Google Street Viewis a technology featured in Google Maps that provides the panoramic views from various streets of the world. It was launched on May 25, 2007 by Google in several cities in theUnited States, since then it has expanded to many cities and areas of the world. Till today, Google Street View is launched in about 80 countries of the world.Google Street View displays panoramas of the images. For this, Google uses the cars on which high resolution 360 degree cameras are mounted and these cars travels in whole cities and take up photographs of the streets and monuments.
Then, these photographs are uploaded by Google for Street View. On these cars 12 cameras are fixed to take up photographs from different angles and sides. These photographs are upgraded from time to time.
As cars are not capable to travel at all places, Google also uses trekker, tricycle, walking mans, boat, snow cart, and underwater boats to take up the panoramic shots.
We can also upload some panoramic shots of the place on the Google Street View using gadgets. Google highlights user-contributed shots with blue circles on the Maps.
Businesses like shops, cafes, malls can pay a photographer to take panoramic shots of the interiors which are included in Google Street View with orange circles.
Along with high resolution cameras, Google also uses laser beams for depth mapping to calculate the length and width of the streets and passages. And all these data is also as Artificial Intelligence in self-driving cars for better performance.

What is Mechanical Ventilation?Mechanical ventilation is a treatment to help a person breathe when they find it difficult or are unable to breathe on their own. A mechanical ventilator pushes airflow into the patient’s lungs to help them breathe.Mechanical ventilation may be
    • Invasive ventilation with a tube inserted into the patient’s airway, performed in the intensive care unit in the hospital.
    • Noninvasive ventilation that can be used at home by people with respiratory difficulties.
Mechanical ventilation first came into use in 1929. The two types of mechanical ventilation are• Positive-pressure ventilation: pushes the air into the lungs.• Negative-pressure ventilation: sucks the air into the lungs by making the chest expand and contract.Negative-pressure ventilation:The early ventilators were negative-pressure ventilators. Negative pressure ventilation is very little in use now.• Iron lung: The first mechanical ventilator, a metal cylinder which enveloped the patient completely up to the neck.• Chest cuirass: A small shell which can be strapped to the patient’s chest to create the negative pressure.Positive-pressure ventilation:Positive-pressure ventilators were developed in the early 1950s to treat polio patients with respiratory paralysis. These ventilators blow the air into the patient’s lungs through a tube. They may be invasive or noninvasive.Invasive ventilation:• EndotrachealIntubation: the tube is inserted into the patient’s airway (trachea) through the mouth or nose.Tracheotomy: the tube is inserted through a hole made into the airway.Noninvasive ventilation:Noninvasive mechanical ventilators come with masks and can be used at home. The three kinds are• Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAL): delivers constant and steady air pressure.• Autotitrating (adjustable) positive airway pressure (APAP): changes air pressure according to the breathing pattern.• Bilevel positive airway pressure (BiPAP): delivers air with different pressures for inhalation and exhalation.

What is Retroreflectivity & Why is it important?Retroreflection occurs when a surface returns a large portion of directed light beam back to its source. Retroreflective materials appear brightest to observers nearest the light source (such as a motorist). The object’s brightness depends on the intensity of the light striking the object and the materials the object is made of.Traffic sign technology has changed dramatically in the last few years, as breakthroughs in retroreflective science have been adopted by many government agencies around the world.

Why are Cucumbers Bitter?Usually, the bitterness is caused by some climate or soil condition that could be easily solved. That's why it is so important to take preemptive steps to keep them from becoming bitter in the first place.Cultivated cucumbers all contain cucurbitacin B and cucurbitacin C, compounds that are supposed to make their leaves bitter and less tasty to munching animals. These compounds are usually confined to the leaves and stems of the plants, parts of the plant humans don't eat, so we are not aware they are there. It is only when they move into the fruits that we start detecting a bitter taste. Usually, it is not the whole fruit that turns bitter. More commonly, the bitterness will be concentrated at the stem end and the area right under the skin.
There is still some disagreement about what causes the bitterness to spread into the fruits, but it seems to point to types of stress while the cucumbers are growing. So although we cannot correct the problem after the fact, we can try and avoid the following 3 growing conditions that are potential culprits of bitter cucumbers.Dry Conditions:Long periods of hot, dry weather can contribute to bitter cucumbers.Lean Soil:Another factor in bitter cucumbers is lean soil and a general lack of nutrients.Lack of Sun:Overcast areas, like the Pacific Northwest, have reported bitter cucumbers due to lack of sun. Finally, look for varieties that are well-suited to your area and that are labeled "non-bitter". Some reliable varieties are 'Marketmore 97', 'Diva', 'Eversweet' (any variety with "sweet" in the name), 'Long Green Improved', and the heirloom 'Lemon'.

What are Intravenous, Intramuscular, and Subcutaneous Injection?Injections are among the most common health care procedures throughout the world, with at least 16 billion administered in developing and transitional countries each year. Intravenous (IV), subcutaneous (SC), and intramuscular (IM) are three most frequently used injection routes in medication administration. IV injection is the introduction of a medication into the veins using a needle, and it is used when rapid absorption is called for, when fluid cannot be taken by mouth, or when the medication to be administered is too irritating to be injected into the skin or muscles. SC injection is administered as a bolus into the subcutis. IM injection is the technique used to deliver a medication deep into the muscles, allowing the medication to be absorbed into the bloodstream quickly. Prescribing information for some medications notes that they can be injected via one or more routes (eg, epinephrine can be delivered by IV, IM, or SC route), while prescribing information for the majority of injectable medications only describes one injection route.

What is Diaphragmatic Breathing?Normal breathing is relatively shallow and does not use the full capacity of the lungs. Diaphragmatic breathing is a deep breathing exercise that fully engages the diaphragm and increases the efficiency of the lungs.Diaphragmatic breathing, or “belly breathing,” involves fully engaging the stomach, abdominal muscles, and diaphragm when breathing. This means actively pulling the diaphragm down with each inward breath. In this way, diaphragmatic breathing helps the lungs fill more efficiently. During diaphragmatic breathing, a person consciously engages their diaphragm in order to take deeper breaths. A person will notice their stomach rising and falling. They will also feel an expanding or stretching sensation in the stomach, rather than solely in their chest and shoulders.

Why does Body stores more Fat in specific areas? If you tend to pack the pounds on your tummy or your back or your upper arms, you'll continue to tend to put fat there. Forever. Sit-ups and squats can help shape our bodies differently, but no amount of diet or exercise will turn you into a person who naturally stores lipids in a different place.Specifically, your sex hormones. Testosterone and estrogen are two of the biggest drivers of fat storage. They’re the whole reason that men and women tend to have different body shapes when it comes to chub. But it's not as straightforward as "testosterone makes you put fat in your belly." In fact, it's men with low testosterone who start storing lipids there, which is why, as they age and their natural testosterone levels decrease, they generally start getting that potbelly look. The most obvious is puberty. As teenagers hormones kick into high gear, they undergo all kinds of bodily changes because testosterone and estrogen (and, to a lesser degree, progesterone) are responsible for a lot of our secondary sex characteristics. And during this time, we also start to develop body fat in those characteristic places, men in the stomach, women in the thighs and butt. This is because adipose tissue in different parts of our bodies have receptors for different kind of Hormones. The fat in our stomachs, especially that visceral fat that surrounds our organs, seems to respond well to androgens (i.e. testosterone), and researchers think that's because visceral fat cells have androgen receptors. Subcutaneous fat, which is the stuff you develop just under the skin, has estrogen receptors. This might be part of why women start having a higher body fat percentage when they hit puberty: More estrogen prompts the growth of more fat cells.

Why Should You Look For The TFM Value Of Your Soap? With umpteen number of soap bars flooding the market, choosing the right soap can become a confusing task. This is where TFM or Total Fatty Matter comes into play. The TFM quantity describes the quality of a soap. It adds moisturizing properties to the product, leaving your skin deeply-cleansed, yet soft and supple. This is because the fillers are fewer in number and the deep-cleansing content is higher.
You must look for the TFM content in a toilet soap based on your skin type. Talk to your dermatologist about how much TFM content is good to be used on your skin. The higher the TFM, the more its moisturizing properties. However, toilet soaps with high TFM quantity can sometimes dry up your skin, if their pH levels are too high.
It is mandatory for toilet soaps to have their TFM content specified as part of their ingredient list.

What is Starlink and it’s Purpose?Starlink is a network of satellites that provide internet. The constellation will consist of thousands of mass-produced small satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO), working in combination with ground transceivers. It’s being built by SpaceX, Elon Musk’s aerospace company. The satellite network operates at 550km above the Earth’s surface in low Earth orbit, unlike conventional internet satellites that are positioned much higher, at over 35,000km. SpaceX’s first Starlink mission was launched on May 24, 2019, which carried 60 satellites. The company has approval to launch 12,000 Starlink satellites, and it has requested the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to approve launch of another 30,000 satellites.
